First one i purchased the laser reader went on it after about 2 months (It couldn't load, said "no disk"). I returned it and got another one, and after about a month i am having same sort of problem- it will play 5-20 minutes of dvd and then freeze up. The first month or so this player is great, other than it is sometimes quite noisy. It is cheap and you can play a variety of media on it. One downside is that the only buttons on the player itself are play, pause, and stop. To skip to another chapter, go thru menu options, etc., etc., you must have remote. If lose remote, you better find it. Strengths:
